RECEPTION

Welcome to our reception! Our receptionist is available every day to assist and inform you from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM and from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

At the reception, you can find information about the beautiful surroundings and the many activities you can undertake. During the high season, you can access your reserved pitch from 12:00 PM. Our safari tents and camping bungalows are available from 4:00 PM.

Visitors are warmly welcome, as you can read in our regulations available at the reception. Dogs are allowed, provided they are on a leash and do not cause any nuisance. Assistance dogs are welcome everywhere. Feel free to stop by the reception for more information and a warm welcome!

Camping Shop

Nature camping Parc de la Brenne offers a cozy and well-stocked shop at the reception, where you can find all your daily necessities. In addition to freshly baked bread and croissants every morning, we have almost all the basic products you might need, so you don’t have to leave the campsite if you don’t want to.

Our assortment includes fresh dairy products, meats, canned goods, vegetables and fruits, and toiletries. The shop also offers a selection of local products, such as wine and regional specialties. This way, you can enjoy the delightful flavors of the area during your stay.

Our reception is ready to help and inform you about the region and the activities available. At our campsite, we highly value local products, and we warmly invite you to visit our shop and enjoy all the delicious offerings from the surrounding area.

BAR/RESTAURANT

COME AND ENJOY DELICIOUS FOOD AND DRINKS

At our restaurant with two cozy terraces, you can enjoy delicious food and drinks every day. Start your day with a delightful cappuccino or espresso and admire the view of the green landscape. At lunchtime, we prepare our own toasted sandwiches and also serve delicious homemade pastries!

On the covered terrace near the pool, you can indulge in snacks and drinks while the children enjoy swimming. This way, you won’t have to take your eyes off them for a moment.

In the evenings, you can choose from our homemade extensive meals or cook for yourself. Our meals include starters, a salad buffet, main course, and dessert buffet. We only use fresh products and also offer children’s meals and dietary options.

In addition to our restaurant, we also have a bar where you can relax with a delightful cappuccino, French wine, draft beer, or soft drink. And if you fancy something tasty, we also offer a snack and take-away service. Once a week, we make homemade pizzas that you won’t want to miss.

Our terraces, restaurant, and bar are accessible for people with disabilities, and free WIFI is available. On our large television screen, you can follow all sports events, such as the Tour de France, Olympic Games, and Formula 1.

As the cherry on top, you can order fresh bread and croissants from us so you can enjoy a delicious breakfast on your own terrace in the morning. Order your bread the day before at the bar before 8:00 PM, and we’ll take care of the rest. In the pre- and post-seasons, you can get fresh croissants and chocolate pastries at the reception.

Heated Swimming Pool

Welcome to our campsite, where we not only offer the perfect location for your camping experience but also a delightful heated swimming pool with a stunning view of the valley. From the Ascension Day weekend until mid-September, our pool is open, providing the ideal spot to relax and soak up the sun.

Our lounge chairs are available for you to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Additionally, we offer the opportunity for less mobile guests to enjoy our pool, thanks to our lift with 4 different lifting bags. This way, they too can enjoy a refreshing swim.

Would you like to enjoy swimming in peace? You can request to reserve the pool for “special swim hours”, ensuring you can fully enjoy our pool without any distractions.

For parents, we have a covered terrace next to the pool where you can relax while watching your children have fun in the water. The terrace offers a magnificent view of the surroundings and is the perfect place to unwind after a refreshing swim.

Customized Animation for Children with Disabilities

The Stichting Vrienden van Domaine de Puylagorge provides a professional and attractive entertainment program for children with disabilities, regardless of their age, and their siblings up to the functional age of 12 years old at Camping Parc de la Brenne. Activities can also be organized for high school students, either on or off the campsite, by arrangement.

By enrolling your children in the animation program of the Friends of Puylagorge, you as a parent can also relax and enjoy your free time. Just imagine what you could do in those few hours…

Depending on the care needs of your child, there may be costs associated with the animation program, but you can have the reassuring thought that your children will receive the attention they need while having fun at the same time.

Come and relax in our snoezelen room at Camping Parc de la Brenne!

Since 2015, we have had a beautiful snoezelen room at our campsite, made possible by our amazing sponsors. It’s a place where you can relax and enjoy the calming effects of snoezelen. Our sign-up sheet at the reception makes it easy to plan your visit!

Snoezelen is a wonderful activity for people with (severe) intellectual disabilities, advanced dementia, or other limitations. It’s a sensory-focused way of providing care where we stimulate the key senses: hearing, sight, smell, touch, and taste. By selectively stimulating these senses, people can express their emotions and feelings and improve their quality of life.

Our snoezelen tools and materials are specially selected to provide relaxation, combat boredom, promote contact, and enhance sensory perception. The result is less agitation and aggression and reduced use of calming medication. Additionally, snoezelen helps improve the relationship between the caregiver, loved one, or healthcare provider and the environment, creating a sense of security and safety.

Safe and enjoyable playing at Camping Parc de la Brenne!

At Camping Parc de la Brenne, you’ll find playgrounds at various locations with various equipment, such as climbing frames, slides, playhouses, merry-go-rounds, and seesaws. Surrounding these facilities is a large sandbox where children can play and frolic to their heart’s content. This provides great entertainment for many children!

But that’s not all! On our 12-hectare site, there are also plenty of adventurous spots where your children can experience exciting adventures, such as building their own hut. And for older children and adults, we have a paved multi-sports area, 2 ping pong tables, 2 petanque courts, a soccer field, basketball court, and a volleyball court with sand. Everyone can have fun at our campsite!

We have 5 playgrounds spread throughout the entire site. Some of them have play equipment for children with disabilities. Additionally, we have a heated swimming pool with a lift and a snoezelen room. This provides a delightful place for the whole family to enjoy their vacation at Camping Parc de la Brenne.

At Camping Parc de la Brenne, everything revolves around fun and entertainment for everyone, regardless of any limitations. With us, the Foundation Friends of Domaine de Puylagorge ensures that our holiday guests with disabilities are never hindered in enjoying their vacation.

We understand that aids play an important role in facilitating a carefree holiday. Therefore, we have various aids available at our holiday park and work closely with French home care and physiotherapy services. Our kitchen also easily accommodates special diets; we gladly prepare adapted meals for you with love.

Our snoezelen room is a true oasis of peace and relaxation and has been available since 2015. We are incredibly grateful for the generous contributions of our sponsors that have made this possible.

For children with disabilities (regardless of age), the Foundation Friends of Domaine de Puylagorge provides adapted entertainment programs, 5 days a week. This way, they too can enjoy their vacation worry-free.

A Dutch nurse is also present at the campsite.

And to top it all off, we offer adapted transportation, in collaboration with a French taxi service provider that can also transport wheelchairs. This makes the journey to our holiday park much simpler as well.

Adapted Sanitary Facilities at Camping Parc de la Brenne

Relax and enjoy without worries.

We love to provide peace of mind, even when it comes to sanitation! At Camping Parc de la Brenne, the sanitary buildings are built in a rustic style, blending in with the beautiful surroundings. We have four sanitary buildings on our park, each containing four adapted bathrooms.

In these bathrooms, you’ll find everything you need, including shower stretchers, extended toilet bowls, ceiling lifts, toilet rails, toilet chairs, adjustable sinks, and even tiltable mirrors. The doors are all 1 meter wide, ensuring easy access for wheelchair users.

At Camping Parc de la Brenne, we place great importance on hygiene, and therefore, we are very meticulous about maintaining and cleaning our sanitary facilities. This ensures that our sanitation is always clean and fresh, allowing you to fully enjoy your holiday without worries about the facilities.
